The Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Fintiri,has declared his total support for People’s Democratic party PDP presidential aspirant former Vice president Atiku Abubakar, saying that he will takover the mantle of leadership from the All Progressive Congress APC goverment come 2023.
The governor who spoke to journalists on Monday when he arrived at Yola International Airport from a two weeks vacation,said that there is no presidential aspirants that has the leadership qualities to defeat Atiku.
Fintiri said ,” politics is local,so you must start at that level to defend the interest of your people.”
The governor noted that the situation of the country demands for an experience person that can take Nigeria back on track, adding that the former PDP presidential candidate during the 2019 generation elections ( Atiku) has the capacity to bring Nigerians together again.
On zoning,he said,” that is the job of the zoning committee ,it is let for the committee to decide on that,but what I know I can tell you is that zoning or no zoning Atiku is the next president of Nigeria”.
The governor reinstated that the interest of Nigerians under his party the PDP will be protected and that the party is prepared to take back its mandate.
He pointed out that the first quality Nigerians are looking at from those seeking for the office of the president is the ability to reunite Nigerians and create jobs for the Youths.
He called on Nigerians to vote for PDP in order to rescue the country from bad leadership and return the past glory of Nigeria .
