Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party [NNPP], Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso on Tuesday in Abuja unveiled his development blueprint to the nation with a promise to expeditiously tackle the numerous challenges facing the nation without exception if given the opportunity to serve the country.
Dr. Kwankwaso stated that as president, he would regard his mandate as a social contract with the entire people on the nation and would appoint representatives who will serve as intervention committees in all the over 8000 wards in the country to monitor and ensure proper implementation of development projects for speedy completion.
He stated that his journey in government over the years effectively prepared him with the requisite skills, capability and deep knowledge of the problems and needs of Nigerians assuring that he would not be an absentee president but would lead the nation, especially in tackling insecurity from the frontlines.
While promising to make national and annual examinations like the West African Examination Council [WAEC] and NECO free for Nigerians children, Kwankwaso bemoaned the falling standard of education in the country and promised that the government of the NNPP will revive learning culture by giving the sector top priority.
He appealed to Nigerians to digest and accept the document and elect the party into office to enable the nation reap the huge benefits in the economic and development blueprint.
Kwankwaso said his programmes and policies are ready stressing that as president he would not condone or engage in delay tactics but would hit the ground running from the very first day after inauguration.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by officials and supporters of the New Nigeria Peoples Party from the 36 states of the federation.
