President Muhammadu Buhari has transmitted to the House of Representatives National Assembly the 2022 Statutory Budgets of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, the Federal Capital Territory FCT and the Code of Conduct Bureau CCB.
This was contained in a letter dated October 4,;2022 addressed to the Speaker Hon.Femi Gbajabiamila and read to the hearing of the lawmkers present at plenary on Monday November 14,2022 by the speaker.
In the letter, the President said that in line with sections 18 (2) of the NDDC, 58 and 121 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) he is forwarding these entities 2022 budgets for the kind consideration of the lawmakers.
He assured them lawmakers of highest esteem and called for a speedy passage of the aforementioned budgets into law.
Meanwhile the House had adjourned plenary to Wednesday November 16, 2022 to enable members of the various political parties to participate actively in campaign of their parties
