The All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, has vowed to end the security challenges facing parts of the state, if elected at the poll.

Addressing the party’s campaign rally in Batsari Local Government headquarters, Dr. Radda promised to decisively tackle the security menace through both kinetic and non – kinetic approaches.

He said his administration will accord extraordinary support to the Nigerian military and security agencies to restore normalcy in the troubled areas.

The governorship hopeful further stated that his commitment to the fight against insecurity would be more than providing logistics support to the relevant agencies  as he would go the extra mile necessary to win the battle.

Radda, whose campaign train to Batsari and other bandits’ ravaged areas was accompanied by heavily armed security personnel, said ending insecurity in all parts of the state has become necessary in order to integrate all communities and everyone into the development agenda of his likely administration.

Meanwhile, the Director, Media and Publicity,  Katsina APC Campaign Council, Ahmed Abdulkadir, said the APC gubernatorial flag bearer had broken the jinx and traversed across dangerous areas known to be the stronghold of bandits’ enclaves across Batsari and Safana Local Government Areas.

“He went across those areas while touring wards in Safana and Batsari Local Government Areas during the second leg of his campaign tour.

“He went through areas that were said to be no-go areas because of the activities of the criminal elements. Such areas included Zakka, Kukar-Samu in Batsari local government area, Babban-Duhu, Ɓaure, Ummadau, Tsaskiya, Runka and finally to Safana.

“In Tsaskiya, one of the the hearts of the danger zones in the area, he addressed a huge crowd and told them that no danger could stop him from visiting to see for himself the condition in which they lived.

“He reiterated his determination to use a kinetic and non-kinetic approach to end insecurity in the state if voted into power,” Abdulkadir stated.

Radda is accompanied on the campaign train by his running mate, Alhaji Faruk Joɓe, the Katsina State APC Chairman, Alhaji Sani Daura, the Director-General of the Katsina State APC Campaign Council, Arch. Ahmed Musa Ɗangiwa, and many Katsina APC leaders.
