Political party candidates for the coming gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Anambra State, have shunned the Monday sit-at-home exercise and intensified their campaigns to lure voters for votes

Consequently, the issue of unexpected attack by street urchins who may disguise as enforcers of sit-at-home order does not arise as the focus is on the election.

An agent to All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, who simply identified himself as Johnson, said that for now nobody was talking about sit-at-home rather on how to win the Saturday election.

” Pressman, please forget the issue of sit-at-home for now until after the election. We are not happy that Labour Party has taken over the State. The coming House of Assembly election on Saturday, may be another hurricane against us if care is not taken.

“Peter Obi is the man of the moment and with him again, all political parties nationwide are in trouble. I fear, APGA may go into Oblivion if care is not taken.

“In the Southeast zone LP has sacked APGA and PDP, nobody is talking of APC. There is nothing like APC in the Southeast and that is why whoever that is APC candidate in the Southeast is just going for jamboree,” he stated.

In his reaction, a voter who identified himself as Chigozie Omanduha, said that if not for Labour Party he would not have come out to vote on Saturday, adding that he will vote LP again.

On sit-at-home he said, “Who is talking about sit-at-home when parties that lost the last election are strategizing on how to win the coming Saturday election . Even the enforcers of Monday sit-at-home, are now party agents and political thugs,” he hinted.
