The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have lambasted a faceless group known as “PDP Youth Vanguard” which called for the suspension of Senator Jonah Jang from the party.
The pseudo group which painted various social media platforms accused Senator Jang of been responsible of PDP woos in Plateau.
Responding to the faceless group allegations against Senator Jang, publicity secretary of PDP in Plateau State, John Akans said the allegations are based less as the party doesn’t had such registered group of youth from ward to National body.
Akans said the group is sponsored body by the APC as an uncoordinated party which they involved in every activities that are not in line with the rules of democracy.
He stated that Jang remained the leader of Plateau state after Solomon Lar because he is the founder member of PDP.
In his words:”We have no such registered body of youths “PDP Youth Vanguard” from the ward level to the state level and up to the National level.
“In the absence of Solomon Lar today, the person that fill the vacuum is Senator Jonah Jang and there is no doubt about that and there is no body to challenge that.
“So for anybody to go and seat under the bridge and calling for the suspension of Jang that person most be a rascal and Plateau state is not meant for rascality.I call them rascals because nobody, no responsible son would stand and insult his father.
“Jang is the live member of the Board of Trustees, BOT, as one of the founder member of the party.
“When I saw it and was just laughing, and I can assured you there are not members of the PDP. If your claimed you are members of the PDP why do you cover your faces?
“So let them bring out their identity let us know because our party is a registered political party. Our party had a core register members from ward level dawn. So if they are true members of the PDP let them come and show us their identity that they are the members of PDP, and them what is their capacity.
“It is the work of the APC having lost out they want to get it through the back door. We will not allow that nonsense. We will not allow the mandate of the people to go in vain.
“The court of law is meant for deepening democracy by dictating the voices of the elected, and in this case the voice of the majority,” PDP mouthpiece Akans mentioned.
