With the deteriorating security challenges in Nigeria the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governors’ Forum will meet in Ibadan, Oyo State on Monday to take a position.
The Forum which comprised of 15 Governors elected on the platform of the PDP under the leadership of Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal said the economy of the nation will also top the discussion at the meeting.
Director-General of the forum, C.I.D. Maduabum in a statement on Sunday said, “The meeting will further review the current State of the nation especially issues of national security and the economy, and also fine-tune strategies to support PDP as a viable and necessary alternative to the disastrous APC administration.”
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State will be the Chief Host.
