Insecurity, Soludo swears in PDP chair Ken Emeakayi as Special Adviser on Community Security

In a continued effort to enhance security in the communities in Anambra , Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has sworn in Mr. Ken Emekakayi , forme Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in the state as the Special Adviser on Community Security.
The event which took place at the Government House , Awka, on Tuesday October 29,, 2024 attracted community leaders and high profile cabinet members of thee Soludo administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Govrtnor Soludo restated his commitment to providing security across the state , stressing that crimes such as armed robbery , cultism , arson among others have allegedly become rampant in some parts of the state and needed to be tackled headlong.
Soludo , who said he has confidence in Emeakayi, expressed the hope that with the appointment of the former PDP state chair as his Special Adviser on Community Security , criminality in the various communities in the state would be reduced to the barest minimum.
Expressing appreciation for the gesture , Emeakayi , who said he would focus on intelligence gathering among others and synergize with the security agencies in the State to make Anambra safe for habitation , thanked Governor Soludo for the appointment , promising to work tirelessly to encsure that the state is safe for residents, visitors and investors.
