Noble Merry Empowerment Foundation , a foremost NGO which has its head office in Lagos, added another feather to its already blooming plummage.
The Foundation known widely for its work in the area of caring for the helpless and giving hope to the hopeless, opened it’s new head office today with great pomp and pageantry.
Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Mrs Ogechi Iwunze-Anthony told the media that the foundation was the result of a vision given to her by God to help the needy and the hopeless in society.
“Noble Merry is a foundation to help people in this difficult economy and so far, we have empowered people to rise from being hungry and helpless, hopeless and bereft to becoming hopeful, confident and empowered to help others too.
The Foundation which she describes as a “food security organization” runs programmes that enable housewives have food on their tables for their families all the year round.
They also engage in what they call “street feeding” of the poor and indigent every year and engage in helping indigent students get back to school with a programme tagged “back to school” where they help indigent pupils and parents get their children back into schools by paying fees, buying of educational materials like bags, books, writing materials, sandals etc
Noble Merry ‘s people oriented programmes are so popular that it’s former office located at 74 Ailegun street, Bucknor was always brimming with people hence the decision to build a bigger head office located at No 3 Dare Demurin Street, behind BBQ Arena, off Ailegun Street, Bucknor, Ejigbo, Lagos.
The opening of the new head office coincided with the CEO’s birthday and many Noble Merrians were around to celebrate with her amidst outpouring of gifts and encomiums.
Champion Newspapers which had earlier penciled the CEO Oge Oge Iwunze-Anthony as it’s 2024 heart of Gold award recipient was around with other media houses to cover the event.
The event commenced with prayers by Rev. Father’s Joseph N Ozo, the parish priest of St Jesus the Saviour Catholic Church, Bucknor and Rev Father Pascal Aggrey of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ikorodu.
The ribbon into the lovely edifice was cut by Mrs Iwunze-Anthony’s mentor, Barr. Ogechi Nweke and some of Noble Merry Board members who are the brains and solid backing behind the success that Noble Merry has become.
