Heirs Energies Eyes 100,000bpd Milestone After Doubling Current Production

Heirs Energies Limited has doubled its oil production from 25,000 barrels per day to 55,000bpd, with a target to hit 100,000bpd by 2030.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Osa Igiehon, disclosed this on Tuesday in Lagos during the CEO Masterclass on Brownfield Excellence at the Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition, NAICE 2026, organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Speaking under the theme “Thriving in the evolving global energy landscape: collaborating for growth and resilience,” Igiehon said the jump of 30,000bpd was achieved through disciplined execution, innovation and operational excellence on mature assets.
He said Nigeria’s operating environment now offers a favourable outlook for growth, supported by enabling government policies and strong community engagement
According to him, Heirs Energies adopted a pragmatic, community-friendly approach that has helped de-risk operations and unlock value from brownfields.“
With the right policies, technology and community partnership, we can continue to advance exploration and production in Nigeria,” Igiehon said.
He added that the company remains committed to driving Nigeria’s economy forward through human capital development and job creation, while leveraging technology to improve efficiency across its operations.
The NAICE 2026 conference is focusing on collaboration, resilience and innovation as key drivers for the future of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
