Following the incident of the killing of the innocent citizen Deborah Yakubu a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto, the Rescue Nigeria Global Network ‘RNGN’ strongly condemns the killing and torturing of citizens of other faiths including Christian. Also, people from other geopolitical zone of Nigeria in Sokoto and other parts of Nigeria.
RNGN issued this statement during their global meeting of the Global officers, Regional, National and state coordinators.
The Global coordinator Michael Chukwujekwu PhD in his speech stated that rescuing Nigeria is needful now. He said that though tribe and tongue may differ but in brotherhood where every life matters shall be the resolute of Nigerians.
Among others persons present during the meeting are Chief Pat Okpala from Atlanta GA USA, Deputy Global coordinator1 and regional coordinator for American region. Dr Emma Nnopu the Regional Coordinator for Australia,
Nze Ikay the National coordinator for Russia. Dr Peter Oraekwe from San Antonio Texas, USA Deputy Head of Planning and Strategy, Mrs Blessings Obi-Allison head of Administration and Multimedia.
Also, Prince Oyekan Sanni from Califonia USA, Mrs Blessings Jekwu UK Head of press, Mr Omohede Jegede the Regional Coordinator for Africa, Dr Chinelo Onwusi the National coordinator for Nigeria, Mr John Chukwuma the head of Implementation, Mr Adesanmi Julius Elumaro the state coordinator for Ondo, Mr Ahmade Bala Heaf of Lobbying, Mr Johnson Yusuf Assistant Head of Campaign, among many other global officers.
The Rescue Nigeria Global Network urges the Government of Sokoto state and the law enforcement agencies to protect human lives while maintaining peace and order.
The Community rulers, and leaders of religious organisations as well as leaders of organisations in the state are urged to rescue and protect people and properties in the state.
Protecting, preserving and sustaining nation’s infrastructure, economy and human capital is the way forward to Nigeria we need.

In the light of these, the Federal government of Nigeria
that possesses the constitutional right to protect her citizens, is urged to intervene speedily to ensure that peace and order is maintained in the state and in Nigeria. The perpetrators of these acts shall be brought to book and face the rule of law.
