Abia APC conducts a special congress and elects a new state chairman

The Abia State chapter of the All Progress Congress has elected Chief Kingsley Ononogbu, as it’s state chairman.

 

He was elected to replace the demised chairman Chief Enyinnaya Harbour, who died in November 2021.

 

The chairman of of the special state congress Mr Kolawale Babatunde, declared that Ononogbu polled a total number of 10,67 votes to emerge the winner of the Chairmanship position.

 

He disclosed that the National working committee of the party led by former Governor Mai Buni, had fixed the congress in order to fill the vacant Chairmanship position.

 

In his acceptance speech the newly elected state chairman of the party commended the party faithful  for electing him  to lead the party.

 

He promised  to bring effective leadership to the party, while inviting  all members of party in the state to work assiduously for the party to win both presidential and governorship election in the forth coming 2023 general elections.
