Abuja Continental has won the prestigious best Housekeeping at the iconic Bed-Making Challenge competition at the 8th International Hospitality & Tourism Expo and Forum (IHTEF) held at Ladi Kwali Conference Centre ,Abuja
Chibuikem Diala, Executive Director of IHTEF Secretariat said the bedmaking competition award was instituted to promote skills development, workforce empowerment, and sustainable practices within the hospitality industry, and to spotlight frontline talent and honour the vital role of housekeeping.
He informed that Akpa David Chinonso of Abuja Continental Hotel was awarded the prize for demonstrating exceptional skill, precision, and professionalism in the highly competitive field.
Responding to the unique recognition ,General Manager ,Abuja Continental Hotel, Kevin Brett said this celebrated achievement showcases the hotel’s unwavering commitment to excellence and sustainability in the hospitality sector.
Akpa David Chinonso, a dedicated member of the Abuja Continental Housekeeping team, emerged victorious in the highly competitive Bed-Making Challenge, securing first place amidst fierce competition from hospitality professionals across Nigeria.
