Buhari, Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu greet Aliko Dangote at 65, extol his accomplishments

President Muhammadu Buhari rejoices with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, on his 65th birthday, April 10th, 2022, joining family members, friends and associates to celebrate the milestone with the business magnate.

The President shares the memorable occasion with the Dangote Group, which includes management and members of staff, and the many visionary leaders that daily redefine the livelihood of Nigerians for the better, and drive competitiveness in the economy with clear ranking of excellence in provision of goods and services.

As Alhaji Dangote turns 65, President Buhari affirms the footprints of the consummate businessman in key sectors of the economy, and the remarkable results achieved in production and supply of food items, making him a household name. More recently, his dynamism in buoying the economy through heavy investments in building Africa’s largest refinery, fertiliser manufacturing company, and cement factories.

President Buhari appreciates the patriotism, simplicity and wisdom that Dangote has consistently displayed, making Nigeria and Nigerians his first priority, while setting example for many that charity truly begins from home.

Also, All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has felicitated President Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, as he attains 65 on April 10.

The APC leader commended him for his numerous laudable achievements, not only as a titan of African industry, but also as a philanthropist.

In a congratulatory letter signed by him and released at the weekend by his Media Office, Asiwaju Tinubu prayed that Allah continues to extend His hand of mercy over his life and the lives of his family members and loved ones.

 

He said: “I offer, by this letter, hearty congratulations to you on the occasion of your 65th birthday, today. I thank Almighty Allah for His abundant blessings in your life and in the lives of all those you have touched over the years.

 

“I pray that Allah continues to extend His hand of mercy over your life and the lives of your family members and loved ones.

 

I pray the events of this day, the celebration of your life brings you lasting memories that you will treasure for the rest of your days.

 

“I must also take this opportunity to commend you for your many laudable achievements, not only as a titan of African industry, but also as a philanthropist.

 

“As you gather with your family, friends and associates to give thanks to Almighty Allah during this Holy month of Ramadan, may He hear the supplications of your heart and fill you with His peace.

Also, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Nigerian business magnate and President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on his 65th birthday.

 

He described Dangote, who clocks 65 on Sunday, April 10, as a renowned business man, seasoned administrator, and philanthropist who has contributed immensely to the economy and livelihood of many Nigerians.

 

Sanwo-Olu said the business magnate is doing a lot for Nigeria by contributing to the growth of her economy and providing jobs and empowerment for millions of people, especially youths in different parts of the country.

 

Governor Sanwo-Olu in a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, on Sunday, praised Alhaji Dangote’s contribution to the economy of Nigeria through his various manufacturing companies in different parts of the country, especially the Dangote Fertilizer Plant and the Dangote Refinery in Lekki, Lagos.

 

He said: “On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, Lagos State Government, and the good people of Lagos State, I join family, friends and business associates to congratulate you (Alhaji Aliko Dangote) on your 65th birthday celebration.

 

“You are a blessing to your generation considering how God has been using you to put smiles on the faces of many Nigerians working in your companies. You are an employer of labour and a respected business magnate who is contributing positively to the economy of Nigeria.
