ESN never attacked military, police, other security operatives – IPOB

Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), disclosed weekend that its Eastern Security Network., ESN, has never attacked the military, police and other security operatives since inception adding any claim that ESN attached security operatives was mere propaganda against the movement.
Making this disclosure through its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, while reacting to claim by the Enugu State Police that ESN Operatives attacked them at Four conner, Enugu State, on 18th of August 2024, IPOB described the claim as fallacy and a figment of their own imagination.
“It is unfortunate that the Nigeria Police and their Military have sustained their lies and propaganda against ESN Operatives to divert attention and justify the Nigerian State sponsored crimes in Biafraland but ESN are too displined to be distracted by the media propaganda of the Nigeria government, and its security agencies.
“The Nigerian government and her murderous Security Agencies are very much aware of who the criminal perpetrators are because they always arrange these premeditated crimes just so they can blackmail IPOB and ESN. According to the Nigerian Police, the attackers wore military fatigue. The question that reasonable people should ask the Nigerian Police is, since when has the ESN begun to wear military uniforms.
“Worthy of note is the fact that neither the Nigerian Police nor the assailants suffered any casualties in this staged attack. IPOB is not perturbed by the Nigerian Police claims because the Nigerian Police know who the assailants were since they recruited them. Just for avoidance of doubt, ESN Operatives never and will never wear military uniforms.
“Since, the formation of ESN, IPOB has consistently maintained that Biafra does not have an army yet. ESN Operatives have never claimed or paraded themselves as an army. Therefore, if the Nigerian Police Commissioner in Enugu State claimed that their attackers wore military uniforms, do they need a soothsayer to tell them whom the attackers were?
“ESN Operatives did not attack anyone at four conner junctions or any place in Enugu State, or in the entire South East region for that matter. ESN Operatives do not wear military uniforms because they are not an army but only a vigilantee detailed to keep our forest and farmlands safe for our people to engage in their subsistence agricultural activities.
“Until Biafra is restored, ESN will remain vigilantees and will not wear or parade themselves in military fatigue. Nigeria Government and her propaganda Security Agencies know the difference between ESN Operatives and the Nigerian government sponsored criminal elements. But to sustain their blackmail, they refused to call the assailants by their name, even when the criminals claim responsibility for their heinous crimes.
“ESN Operatives are not after the Nigeria security forces. We have emphasized this in our previous press releases that IPOB and ESN are not after the Nigeria security forces. ESN Operatives are in the Biafra farmlands and forests, keeping them safe for agricultural activity.
“Snce the formation of ESN, they have never attacked any Nigeria security agency or institution. However, the Federal Hovernment stooges in Imo and Enugu States Government Houses are the ones collaborating with the Nigerian security agencies to blackmail IPOB.
“Governor Peter Mba of Enugu State and his clueless counterpart Supreme Court administrator in Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, are busy linking IPOB and ESN to the criminality they created in their States to please their sponsor government at the center.
“Peter Mba and Hope Uzodinma will regret all their treachery against Ndigbo in the future. These men and few other political criminals are the ones sponsoring insecurity in the South East region. The Federal Government of Nigeria’s agenda against Ndigbo is to sponsor an unending insecurity in the South East to frustrate Biafrans, make Biafra agitation unattractive and to discourage investment in the South East.
“Unfortunately, they have some willing tools they have rigged into office and some criminals to sustain their agenda. Any Biafran involved in damaging the image of IPOB and ESN will suffer for their evil collaboration. It is just a matter of time. The Enugu and Imo State Police Commands should sharpen their lying and propaganda skills and become more professional at it,” IPOB stated.
