Eze Clement Onwulata: Celebrating 100 Years of Love and Impact

 

 

The family and loved ones of HRM Eze Clement Iheanacho Onwulata, Eze Oha I of Osaa Ukwu Autonomous Community, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, rolled out the drums to celebrate their patriarch’s 100th birthday.

In an age where the average lifespan is decreasing, turning 100 years old is no mean feat. It was jubilation all the way in Osaa Ukwu community on December 23, 2025, as dignitaries from all walks of life gathered at the palace of Eze Clement Onwulata, to celebrate his centenary milestone.

The Chairman of Obingwa Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Adolphus Esiwoko Abakwue and the traditional ruler of Isiala-Itu autonomous community in Obingwa Local Government Area, praised the celebrant for his exemplary life, describing it as a life well spent. “He has raised successful, peaceful and God-fearing children, and this is the greatest legacy anyone could leave behind.”

He described the celebrant as an icon whom the almighty God has used to bring significant development to the people of Osaa Ukwu Kingdom, especially in the areas of peace and unity,noting that “any community that has peace has progress.”

The monarch said that the celebration was remarkable in many ways.”Our beloved father’s 100th birthday is a unique milestone. As we gather to honour his life, we are filled with gratitude, love, and admiration for what God has done for him.”

According to the traditional ruler, Eze Clement Onwulata’s “life is a testament to resilience, courage, and unwavering faith. A century of experiences, trials, and triumphs has shaped him into the patriarch we proudly call our own. His wisdom, guidance, and love have been our guiding light, inspiring us to live with purpose and integrity.”

“As you mark this centennial milestone, we celebrate not just your longevity but the richness of your life. Your legacy is woven into the fabric of our family, and your impact will be felt for generations to come.”

The principal son of the celebrant, Prince Dr Charles Ikechi Onwulata, spoke about the father’s virtues and the secret that led the father to live 100 years and 4months in good health and all his faculties intact.

He highlighted his father’s extraordinary life journey and captured the essence of the man God has favoured. He stated that his father had always been a figure of love and guidance. “His commitment to his children’s education and well-being continues to resonate throughout their lives.We love you, Daddy, and we cherish you. We hope you’ll continue to live long in good health.”

Dr Charles Onwulata noted that more than his physical health, the love, values, and wisdom he imparted to his family had the most significant impact in their lives.

Also speaking, one of the in-laws of Eze Clement Onwulat and a Chieftain of theAPC in Abia State, Chief Chineye Nyerere Anyim, said that “the celebrant’s unwavering dedication, wisdom, and service to our community have earned him the profound respect and admiration of his people.”

He declared:”Eze, your legacy is etched in the hearts of those you’ve touched. Your leadership has guided us, your counsel has inspired us, and your kindness has warmed our spirits. As you mark this significant milestone, we celebrate not only your longevity but the profound impact you’ve had on our community.

“May this day be a testament to your enduring spirit, and may the years ahead continue to bless you with joy, peace, and fulfillment.”

He added:“This milestone event is not just a celebration of old age but a testament to a well-lived life; one marked by service, sacrifice, devotion, and an enduring love for family, community, and humanity.”

“Eze Clement Onwulata is not just a centenarian but also a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration.”

He expressed his admiration for the centenarian’s commitment to his faith and family.

“May God preserve him in good health and grant him many more years to stay with us,” he prayed.

“He is a very good man and a good Christian. He has been a wonderful father. He loves everybody, and he’s loved by people too.”

“His longevity is not just the result of good health practices but also of a life dedicated to the service of others. His children, his community, and all those who know him have been touched by his presence, wisdom and unwavering faith.”

In his response, Eze Clement Onwulata stated that all the glory belonged to God Almighty who had blessed him abundantly. He advised: “I enjoin everyone to know God and serve Him earnestly.”
