Kwankwaso, Ohaneze Igbo Youth Leaders, others pay condolence visit to Iwuanyanwu’s residence

The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former Majority Leader in the Anambra State House of Assembly Hon. Humphery Nsofor and a Chieftain of the NNPP in Kano State Alhaji Aliu B.Mahmoud were among the prominent Nigerians that paid a condolence visit to the family of late President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Chief. Kwankwaso who came with the other politicians at about 4:30 pm at the Abuja residence of the late octogenarian signed the condolence register placed at the deceased’s residence and went into the sitting room to condole the wife and family members of the notable Igbo leader.

 

Before he came, a group the Greater Igbo Forum led by Lois Jonathan an Abuja based journalist and other members of the group were already seated to condole with the family members of the renowned road and highway engineer and industrialist who passed on at age 82.

 

In their individual condolence messages, they extoled the sacrifices made by the late Igbo leader in the political struggles and the efforts to ensure unity of Nigeria and prayed that God almighty will grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.

 

Other prominent Nigerians that have also paid a condolence visitation to the family of the notable Igbo leader and foremost professional engineer were members of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youths Worldwide.

 

National President of the youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural group Mazi Chuwkuma Okpalaezeukwu who lead the national publicity secretary Hon.Udekigbo Chibuzor and financial secretary Hon.Chinedu Arthur-Ugwo to condole with the wife of the deceased said that they were not really mourning but celebrating the departure of their patron.

 

They all separately pledged to ensure  their active participation at the burial activities of the notable Igbo leader and prayed that God ‘ll give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
