The leader and founder of Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, otherwise called Biafran Independence Movement, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, Thursday, demanded that President Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, should divide the country into six geo-political zones in the interest of peace and tranquility.
Uwazuruike who spoke through his media aide, elder Chris Mocha said, “It is very important to note that we celebrated Biafra Day on May 22.
It will be remembered also that every 30th of May, is a turning point in the life of every Igbo man. It is water shed in the history of the geographical expression called Nigeria.
“It is the aftermath of the mistake of the Northern and Southern protectorates by Lord Lugard .It is the reflection of the deep rooted hatred among the major ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. It exposes the hidden irreconcilable disdain existing between Islam and Christianity. It is all about a failed State called Nigeria,” he stated.
According to him, “Years after, Dim Emeka Ojukwu’s predictions are still staring us in the face. The reality of May 30 can no longer be hidden. But the Abuja politicians and contractors are not deterred.. They believe in the elusive one Nigeria.
” The one Nigeria that is their source of corruption and impunity. The one Nigeria that is their instrument for inequality.
The one Nigeria that is shielding them from all sorts of evils.
“But the disturbing aspect of the evil called one Nigeria is that the common man bears the brunt. Like in the case of the biblical Egypt , God hardened the hearts of Abuja politicians and contractors over the plight of the masses in Nigeria.
“For how long will the ordinary masses suffer ?. For how long will the injustice called Nigeria exist?.
The Almighty God abhors injustice. As long as the intents and purposes of the North and South were to cheat the South, Nigeria can never fly .
“Insecurity in Nigeria can never abate . It is the sign of the anger of God. There is only one solution to the problem of Nigeria which is for the Six Geo-political zones in Nigeria to be granted independence.
“The assets of the citizens of the different Geo- Political zones will be protected by the international laws .
Bilateral agreements will guide the future relationship of the Six New Republics. National conference by whatever name can not solve the many problems facing Nigeria because there is deep rooted hatred among the different nationalities.
“This hatred is so deep and can not be wished away. We only pretend we are one . This hatred is natural . It is in our blood. There is no amount of preachings by our religious leaders on nationalism can change Nigeria.
“Any responsible government must consider the lives of her people that are wasted on daily basis. We must not allow our parochial interests and ambition to becloud our sense of reasoning .
“Our Nigerian people are dying . The only solution is to divide Nigeria into Six Republics namely; South East (Biafra), South South, South West, North East, North Central,and North West. This is the only solution that will save Nigeria,” he stated.
