The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has expressed delight over the appointment of Hajiya Suwaiba Idris Baba to the board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
Bello disclosed this in a congratulatory letter to Mrs. Baba, who was recently appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Executive Director in charge of Humanitarian Affairs at the Commission.
The letter read: “I have the honour on behalf of the staff and management of the Federal CapitalTerritory Administration (FCTA) to convey our congratulations to you on your appointment as the Executive Director, Humanitarian Affairs of the North East
Development Commission (NEDC) by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari,
GCFR.
“We wish you Allah’s guidance, success and goodluck during your tenure and beyond”.
Furthermore, the Minister, while wishing Mrs. Baba success on this well- deserved appointment, charged her to work hard towards achieving the objectives for the establishment of the Commission.
The NEDC Board appointee, Suwaiba Idris Baba hails from Taraba state, North East region of the country.
