Worried by the continued increase in number of unemployed youths in Anambra, a non governmental organization (NGO), Anambra State Equity Alliance ( ANSEA) has urged the Governor-elect , Chukwuma Soludo to resuscitate moribund industries in the state to create job for the youths when he assumes office.
Honorable Ikechukwu Emenike who stated this at Isuofia in an interview with Daily Champion , yesterday, reasoned that reviving the industries and employing the youths to work in them would reduce crime in the state.
Emenike who is the ANSEA coordinator for Anambra South zone also urged the Governor-elect to review the revenue collection system for commercial vehicle operators, stressing that there were allegedly so many of them who collect money from operators.
He said a unified system of revenue collection system would prevent diversion of money meant for government.
” We congratulate Soludo. And we urge him to revive Moribund Industries In the state and review the system of collecting revenue from commercial vehicle operators in the state”, Emenike said.
