Itel Solar Energy has launched its first Nigerian sales and service hub at Alaba International Market, a pivotal move to bring affordable solar solutions to a country grappling with persistent power challenges, it announced on Monday.
The company’s move aligns with growing demand for reliable, cost-effective energy alternatives, particularly in commercial hubs like Alaba. The company said it seeks to leverage the market’s high foot traffic to scale its footprint and drive adoption of sustainable energy solutions.
The facility, inaugurated recently, offers solar panels, inverters, batteries, and complete home systems, alongside installation and after-sales support. The opening event drew industry leaders and customers, featuring product demonstrations and expert consultations.
“We are excited to bring Itel Solar Energy’s affordable and reliable solar solutions to AlabaMarket,” Public Relations Manager, Itel Solar Energy, Olaotan Fawehinmi said at the launch.
“But beyond affordability, what sets us apart is the solid quality of our products and our commitment to after-sales service. We offer a 3-year replacement warranty on our inverters and a 5-year replacement on our batteries, something you don’t often see in this market.”
He added, “Our Carlcare service centre is located right in the same building as our store, ensuring immediate support when needed. Also, with our Carlcare centres spread across all 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT, our customers are never alone after purchase.”
Designed for simplicity and accessibility, itel’s solar solutions are user-friendly, easy to install, and low-maintenance, offering a viable alternative to Nigeria’s erratic grid, costly fuel, and hazardous generators.
The hub introduces the company’s new All-in-One solar systems, including the 3.6kWh and 500W models, which require no installation and cater to Nigerians seeking plug-and-play energy options. “We recognise diverse energy needs,” Fawehinmi added. “Our customised solutions empower homes, shops, and small businesses alike.”
