Soludo demands applications from those interested in political appointment

Prof. Charles Soludo, the Anambra state Governor-elect, has opened a database for the expression of interest and submission of credentials for would-be political appointees in his incoming administration.

In a release from the office of chairperson of the 80-man transition committee, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili state, it stated that Soludo has approved the database for employment.

“The would-be appointees must have to write applications with their curriculum vitae and get interviewed by a panel before being appointed,” the release read in part.

Recall that in his manifesto during his electioneering campaign he reiterated his committed to give everyone who has requisite value contribution to make towards the good governance of Anambra State an opportunity to do so.

“Soludo has therefore approved  the launch of the online system to collect information on available competence, experience and interested persons through a platform www.anambratal-nt.ng“, the release stated further

“This will enable an accessible open, credible process”

“This platform is designed to “express interest” in volunteering or seeking a political appointment or career in paid public service positions”.

According to the release, this Human Resources tool offers a transparent and level playing field for talent search and team selection process consistent with the vision of the Governor-Elect”.

“We are delighted to publish this widely anticipated announcement of the public call for expression of interest from individuals who are interested in serving the people of Anambra State.”

“We hope to attract problem solving with passion, compliance and integrity who are interested in joining a team of other selfless public servants to build a lovable and prosperous state.”

The positions available according to the release range from advisory services technical assistance, executive position as commissioners and heads of department and agencies, membership of commissions and boards of parastatals, local government administration, among others
