The Abuja Chamber for Commerce and Industry (ACCI) says it is partnering with the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Crimes Commission (ICPC) in deepening transparency in public and private procurement processes.

Second Deputy President of the Chamber, Prof. Adesoji Adesugba stated this on Thursday in Abuja at the formal launch of the procurement integrity and transparency training partnership initiative.

“The primary objective of today’s event is to inaugurate the procurement integrity and transparency training partnership initiative between the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Independent Corrupt Practices And Other Related Offences (ICPC). This initiative stems from past instances of corrupt practices within procurement and related business dealings involving vendors and suppliers at different levels.”
