African oil and gas executives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) operators are set to discuss investment opportunities in the industry at the 2023 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC).
On Wednesday, the organisers announced via the OTC website that the 2023 edition of the conference will be held in Houston, Texas from May 1 to May 4.
OTC is one of the largest gatherings of oil and gas industry operators worldwide, and the New House International Ltd, an indigenous events management company, will lead a delegation of SMEs to the conference.
The New House International Ltd aims to support and promote SMEs from the African region to the global market by coordinating their participation in international conferences and exhibitions.
The conference aims to provide participants with the opportunity to meet with the latest technological developments in the oil and gas industry worldwide and tap into opportunities available in the global energy industry.
The African delegation will comprise chief executives of oil service companies and government officials from Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Uganda, Tanzania, Gambia, Namibia, Mozambique, among others.
During the conference, the delegation will make several presentations highlighting the opportunities for investment in their respective oil and gas industry and explore opportunities to attract foreign investment and partnerships to boost the regional oil and gas industry.
The CEOs of various oil companies will also discuss and secure business transactions with relevant participating companies.
The conference will also feature an Africa energy forum with the theme “Building Resilience in Africa’s Energy Sector in the Era of Energy Transition,” where various speakers and panellists will discuss the topic.
According to the OTC, several companies have already confirmed their participation and exhibition through New House International Limited, including Lee Engineering and Construction Company Ltd, Well Energy Services Ltd, Tasaniola Nigeria Limited, ACME Multitech Services, and many more.
Exhibition spaces are also available for those who would like to participate.
