Glo launches festival of joy promo in Lagos, doles  out 20 houses, 24 cars

Nigerian telecommunications network, Globacom have launched its end of the year promo called Festival of joy to reward loyal customers that have supported the brand over the years.

The promo which was unveiled at the Mike Adenuga Towers in Victoria Island on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 will run through till January, 2023.

Globacom’s representative, Zachary Usman, described the promo as an initiative that reinforces its commitment to the empowerment of its subscribers, through which they’ll be provided the opportunity to win amazing prizes.

“It is a customer appreciation initiative through which loyal subscribers will be afforded a unique opportunity to win amazing and mouthwatering prizes, worth hundreds of millions of naira as reward for loyalty and patronage.

“This promo comes a year after the hugely successful joy extravaganza which thrilled Nigerians and provided them opportunities to win amazing prizes for months.

“The Glo festival of joy promo which we are gathered here to launch continues our tradition of bringing joy and cheer to our customers for supporting us through the years. It is our very own way of saying thank you to our numerous customers and an avenue of reinforcing the fact that empowerment is encoded in our DNA.”

He added that the promo will reward lucky customers with 20 houses, 24 brand new cars, 100 generators, 200 sewing machines, rechargable fans, amongst others.

Usman also said that the code for eligibility of prizes is *611# and that there will be draws in Lagos as well as other cities including Abuja, Port, Harcourt, Onitsha, Ibadan, Kano, Benin, Uyo, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Jos and Warri.

“To win, voice and data subscribers only have to dial the dedicated short code *611# and recharge between N3,000 and M15,000 and they would automatically be eligible for the prizes.

“There will be draws in Lagos, Abuja, Port, Harcourt, Onitsha, Ibadan, Kano, Benin, Uyo, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Jos and Warri.

“Those subscribers with their eyes set on winning the grand prizes of winning 20 units of 3-bedroom houses, must data subscriptions for at least N20,000 during the promo period.”

Joy Ugunna, a representative of the National lottery regulation commission said Glo has qualified and has met with the regulatory standards and they are available to ensure the commencement of the process.

“We’ll be with them all through the process, starting from this launch to the process through which the winners will emerge and be verified.”

Ugunna urged people to subscribe to the scheme, adding that prizes are usually inspected and are real, as well as the winners.

“Glo have kept their word even with their previous promos, we present the prizes and speak with the winners and ensure the winners still enjoy their prizes.
