La Chaumiere Group Partners with JMG to Cut Energy Costs via New Hybrid Solar System

JMG Limited has successfully commissioned an advanced hybrid solar power system for La Chaumiere Group, one of Nigeria’s leading premium multi-brand culinary and hospitality groups, reinforcing its commitment to delivering reliable, sustainable, and cost-efficient energy solutions for businesses across the country.
Renowned for creating exceptional dining experiences, La Chaumiere Group operates a portfolio of premium hospitality concepts ranging from fine dining restaurants and authentic Lebanese & Syrian cuisine to specialty coffee destinations and handcrafted popsicle brands. To support its growing operations with cleaner and more resilient energy, the group partnered with JMG Solar to deploy a state-of-the-art hybrid power solution at its facility.
The installation combines 133.12kWp of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) generation, 160kW of hybrid inverter capacity, and 163.84kWh of high-voltage lithium battery storage, creating a fully integrated energy platform designed to maximize reliability while significantly reducing dependence on diesel-powered generation.
Engineered using advanced load analysis with Fluke Load Analyzer and PVsyst simulation software, the system is expected to generate approximately 210.86 MWh of clean electricity annually, supplying most of the group’s daily energy needs while ensuring uninterruptedoperations.
Beyond improving energy reliability, the installation is projected to offset about 57,000 litres of diesel annually, translating into over ₦102 million in annual fuel cost savings and preventing more than 76 tonnes of CO₂ emissions from entering the atmosphere.
The project incorporates premium technologies including LONGi solar modules, Deye hybrid inverters, and Deye high-voltage lithium battery storage, providing intelligent energy management, seamless backup power and long-term operational efficiency.
