Marketing Edge Awards 2026: TPT International Named Strategic Comm Company of the Year as Founder Bags PR Legend Award

It was a night of double recognition for TPT International Limited at the 2026 MARKETING EDGE Awards as its Founder and Chief Consultant, Adetokunbo Modupe, received the PR Legend Award, while the consultancy emerged as Strategic Communication Company of the Year.
The twin honours reinforce TPT International’s growing reputation for professional excellence, strategic thinking and sustained contribution to Nigeria’s public relations and marketing communications industry.
The recognition comes only weeks after TPT International was named among Africa’s leading PR consultancies in the inaugural Africa Consultancy Performance Index 2026, published by Earned First.
The continental index benchmarks consultancies across Business Performance, Creative Impact & Client Outcomes, Innovation & Thought Leadership, Talent & Culture, and Industry Leadership, placing TPT among a select group of African and international consultancies recognised for their performance and impact.
Reacting to the awards, Modupe described the recognition as a tribute to the people and partnerships behind TPT’s journey.
“These awards belong to our people and our clients. For us, professional excellence has never been an event; it is a culture built around constantly challenging ourselves to think better, deliver better and create meaningful value for the organisations that trust us.”
With over three decades in Nigeria’s marketing communications industry, Modupe has remained an active advocate for the advancement and professionalisation of public relations practice, while TPT International has evolved into a strategic communications and reputation consultancy serving organisations across diverse sectors.
The latest honours add to what the company describes as an ongoing journey to build an African-originated consultancy capable of combining deep local intelligence with globally competitive strategic communications practice.
“We see every recognition as encouragement to raise the bar again. The objective is not simply to win awards, but to keep building a culture and an institution that clients, our people and the industry can be proud of,” Modupe added.
