Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, said In line with its democratic principle towards achieving her independent status, its Biafra Internal Government (BIG), which is the official government representing the people of Biafra, has re-introduced the much expected digital income tax for her citizens.

Expressing optimism that the movement is heading towards Actualization of a Sovereign State of Biafra’, it mocked at those advocating for a Nigerian President of Bilbo extraction

This is even as the Prime Minister of BIG, Chief Mrs. Calista Amamgbo, had insisted the voluntary income tax is obligatory to all the registered members of BIM/MASSOB

A statement signed by the Minister for Information to BIG, Chief Larry Odinmah, said, “This is the first time in three years that BIG was introducing the digital income tax since induction in 2020.”

He stated further that BIG arrived at the decision to introduce the digital income tax with security features on the receipts in order to avoid fake printing.

Chief Odinmah added that the income tax is for male adults and voluntary while it is obligatory to its members.

This is even as he enjoined Biafran citizens to avail theirselves of this good opportunity to pay and obtain the tax receipts by visiting any BIM/MASSOB offices nearest to them.

According to him,” Formation of BIG followed the procedures spelt out by Montevideo Convention of 1933 and guidelines of the Unrepresented Nations and People’s Organization, UNPO,, for the achievinment of Self Determination for Biafra.”
