Nesto Aviation, ADAC HEMS Academy, Kasi Health Care Establish Training Centre In Nigeria

In a bid to further improve access to emergency medical care for workers in oil and gas sector in offshore areas of the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa, Nesto Aviation Services (Nestav), ADAC HEMS Academy Germany and Kasi Healthcare Offshore & Aeromedical Unit, have established a state-of-the-art training centre in Nigeria.
The training centre is linked to the ADAC HEMS Academy GmbH Germany, a reputable international firm.
The companies in a media briefing at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on Friday, said that the groundbreaking partnership would provide a dedicated critical care aircraft for injured personnel in the golden hour, including transport for stroke victims, heart attack patients and traumatic injuries with complications, to those who would otherwise have limited access to emergency services in within the period.
The companies said that the programme would prioritise training local doctors, nurses and paramedics, creating jobs and building long-term capacity within the region.
The companies also said that they have launched the ADAC HEMS Academy Training Site in Nigeria, offering the American Heart Association portfolio of courses and crew training.
