Delta State University Teaching Hospital, DELSUTH Oghara, has become the latest beneficiary from Total’s Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, in the health sector, with the handover of two fully equipped ambulances to the institution.

At the handover of the second ambulance on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Total Office, Lagos, the General Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, Mr. Ajukwura Wokomah  who conducted the handover on behalf of the company said: “This ambulance is the second we are donating in fulfilment of our promise to DELSUTH. It is our pleasure and we hope this will serve its purpose. In the next few years when we come to check, we want to see it still being used actively. Our passion as a company is on safety and ensuring that we are actively giving back to every sector of the country”

Mr. Wokomah acknowledged NNPC and other OML 130 partners namely, SAPETRO, CNOOC and Prime while handing over the keys and vehicle documents to the representative of the Chief Medical Director of DELSUTH, Mr. Anthony Prezr, who is the institution’s Director of Administration.

Responding, Mr. Prezr remarked: “We want to appreciate TUPNI/NNPC and their partners for this gift to us. I feel strongly that corporate social responsibility should be targeted at the end users. Today, this gift serves this. The one you gave to us last year is fully operational and has been extremely useful in the fight against the coronavirus in Delta State. This second ambulance will surely boost our capacity to tame the scourge. Once again, thank you.”
