Organizations under the umbrella of Arewa Decides, Katsina State chapter, have decried the levels of insecurity, hunger and unemployment in the state and nation as intolerably still too high and pledged to ensure the bid of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Abubakar Atiku, in the forthcoming poll is actualized.

The no fewer than 70 groups also acknowledged and paid tribute to the courage and determination of Atiku to steer PDP to victory despite all odds.

Presenting their communiqué to state PDP chairman, Lawal Magaji, at the party’s secretariat in Katsina after the groups’ solidarity march tagged, ‘Support Walk For Atiku,’ the state coordinator of Arewa Decides, Kabir Gambo, assured their commitment to ensure total liberation of the nation and the state from the political leadership of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) at this year’s general elections.

While applauding the PDP presidential flag bearer’s avowed determination to address insecurity and other socio – economic challenges bedeviling the country, Gambo declared their support for him and the PDP candidates at all levels in the state.

Towards this end, he revealed that all groups under the aegis of Arewa Decides would continue to yield their structures for effective mobilization and sensitization at the grassroots ahead of the general elections to usher in a new lease of life in Katsina and Nigeria.

Receiving the women and youth armed with banners of different inscriptions, the state PDP chairman, represented by Ibrahim Galadima, stated that the “unprecedented support” Atiku received in Katsina during his recent presidential campaign rally was a pointer to the fact that Katsina electorate would give him their overwhelming votes.

“Katsina is the second home of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; we feel your visit as if it’s Atiku himself visiting us,” he told the groups.

Magaji also expressed over the groups’ efforts so far in supporting not only the PDP standard bearer but all its candidates across the state.
