Mutfwang set task force committee on Govt. assets recovery

Plateau state Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has constituted a task force committee for the recovery of government own properties within and outside the state.

 

A statement signed Tuesday in Jos the state capital by Arch.Samuel Jatau, Secretary to the Government of Plateau revealed that the nine man committee will be spearheaded by Mr. Isaac Wadak as chairman.

 

The committee were given six weeks duration to complete the assignment and submit its findings.

 

According to the statement, “the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has approved the constitution of a Task Force on Recovery of Purported Auctioned Government Property with the following membership:

 

I. Mr. Isaac Wadak -Chairman

ii. David Zoyong -Member

iii. Akims Mamot -Member

iv. Barr. Damian Shekarau -Member

v. Nura Shehu -Member

vi. Mr. Raymond Dangrem -Member

vii. Representative Comm. Of Police-Member

viii. Mr. Nantip Bedur-Member

ix. Barr. Pam Gyang Davou-Secretary.

 

“The Task Force will be guided by the following Terms of Reference:

“To identification/trace of all Government properties that were purported  to have been auctioned across the country.

 

” To ascertain whether or not due process was adhered to in the exercise.

 

“Recovery of all Government Assets that were purportedly /or inappropriately acquired by individuals/groups/or corporate entities.

 

“Any other recommendation that will lead to the recovery of Government assets and safeguard future occurrences,” the statement noted.
